Hello Again. My name is Eric, and I am a certified education consultant in Toronto, Canada. On my channel, I will answer all your questions about
Education and Immigration in Canada. I absolutely love discussing education as a pathway to working in Canada and as a pathway to immigrate to Canada. You can become a Permanent Resident of Canada after studying in Canada for only 2 years. In some cases, after studying in Canada for only 1 year. You are even allowed to work part-time while you study. Working part-time not only helps you pay for your
tuition fees and your cost of living but you are also gaining valuable Canadian work experience. So, do you need
IELTS to study in Canada? The answer is, No! For many, IELTS can be scary. Is my Band high enough? For others, IELTS can be expensive. Listen, Canada really wants you to study in Canada. It’s great for their economy. It’s great for their immigration targets.
you know Canada will invite 1.2 million immigrants over the next 3 years as
Permanent Residents of Canada. No matter what your EILTS score is, no matter what your age is, you can study in Canada, you can work in Canada,
you can become a permanent resident of Canada. Okay, you already have IELTS,
or you are working towards IELTS,
fantastic! It’s great to have. It can open many doors. It can provide many
great opportunities. You can study at many respected Canadian Colleges and
Universities with a band as low as 5.5, but trust me, you don’t
need it. Don’t let IELTS stop you from achieving your dreams. Most of the
schools you will want to attend in Canada,
as an International Student, don’t require IELTS. These schools offer their
own English Proficiency Test, and they are much easier than IELTS
and much less expensive than IELTS. For as little as $50, you can take an
English Proficiency Test online,
administered by the school that you will attend in Canada. Listen, these
schools want you to attend, they want your tuition dollars, it’s
business, they are going to help you come to Canada. So what happens if you
don’t pass their English Proficiency Test?
Don’t be discouraged, don’t give up. You can still come to Canada. You can
arrive in Canada 3 months before your program starts and take an English
Proficiency course at the same school you will attend. This course will
prepare you for their English test and trust me, it’s so easy. You will pass
the course, you will pass the test,
you will be accepted to the college or university of your dreams. You
shouldn’t worry so much about your English skills. Your English
will get better every day being in an English-speaking environment surrounded
by native English speakers and other international students just like you.
Also, you shouldn’t worry you will get low grades because of your English
proficiency. Your professor will grade you on your subject
knowledge,
not your spelling and grammar. Your professors will know you well, they will
know that you are an international student, they will know English
is your second language, and they will grade you accordingly. So what are you
waiting for? Start planning for your future today. If you have any
